Now, we are looking for a Founding Robotics & UAV Integration Engineer to work with us.
Lead the end-to-end integration of Unitree Go2 Pro robots and UAVs into a unified surveillance platform. You’ll architect and implement software and hardware solutions for motion detection, object recognition, and real-time data fusion across heterogeneous robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and requirements for multi-robot coordination and surveillance.
- Develop and maintain C++ applications using Unitree SDK 2 on Ubuntu (20.04/22.04) with CMake .
- Integrate Unitree Go2 Pro into ROS 2, writing both C++ and Python nodes for sensor and control pipelines .
- Design, implement, and optimize computer-vision algorithms for motion detection, object recognition, and tracking in real time
- Interface with UAV systems (avionics, sensors, flight controllers) to enable synchronized ground-air operations.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, deploy edge-computing modules, and ensure system robustness in field conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electronics, data science, operations) to refine performance and user experience.
Qualifications we are looking
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in robotics or UAV systems integration
- Proficiency in C++ (99% of Unitree SDK) and strong command of Linux development (Ubuntu).
- Experience with ROS 2 (C++ and Python), including middleware (DDS) and message design.
- Hands-on UAV integration skills: understanding of PX4/MAVROS, sensor fusion, and avionics subsystems.
- Solid background in computer vision (OpenCV, TensorFlow or PyTorch) for detection, recognition, and tracking tasks.
- Familiarity with CMake, Git, and Agile development practices.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Edge-computing and IoT deployment (AWS IoT Greengrass, NVIDIA Jetson).
- Experience with SLAM, path planning, or multi-robot coordination.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for robotic networks.
- Prior work in safety-critical or regulated environments.
